"VIP pet care input the wrong weight on…"
VIP pet care input the wrong weight on my dog when I took him for heartworm check. They have now denied his prescription fill from Chewy, BUT they haven't bothered to approve the other dog with correct weight's prescription yet. Looks like I will have to drive 20 miles to their nearest regular clinic and have the dog reweighed. This is ridiculous! I have spent over an hour on hold trying to get this straightened out and will be several more hours tomorrow to take dog for reweigh. I will not use them again. They were willing to sell me the preventative at the clinic, but are not willing to fill a prescription with Chewy until the test results are available which is 3-5 days time. They want you to buy prescription only from them!! Terrible service DO NOT USE!

"Tolleson Arizona TSC"
Took my puppy to TSC in Tolleson AZ, arrived 20 minutes before 12pm. Was told I was too late, missed the 15 minute window, obviously NOT and was denied a micro-chip that would have taken 5 minutes. There was no one else in line.
The attendant was condescending, I will never give VIP my business again.

"VIP Petcare prices are intentionally misleading"
VIP Petcare doesn't state in its prices that Rattle snake and Lyme vaccines require 2 shots. They charge $42 and $44 for the first shots, and then charge the same price again for the 2nd shot 4 weeks later. The vaccine is useless without 2 shots of each vaccine. If two shots are required why not charge $84 and $88 for each vaccine, unless you want owners to believe the price is only $42...

"used to be good..now they are horrible"
I used to like this place when I started going a couple years ago, the price was good and the people friendly. Then covid happened and they were shut down forever, and when they reopened, their days were limited. Then they lost vets and the new ones they got were horrible. They have been treating my cat for thyroid, so I got every 6 months for blood tests. The last time I went, the vet told me my cat was dying. I was very upset and went to my regular vet. my cat just had an infection, and after antibiotics was fine. Had I listened to their horrible vet, my cat would no longer be here. So even though I had a bad experience last time, I went back to just get his blood recheck. First off, I went to my local wellness center because the internet said it was open that day..nope, no one ever showed up. So, I tried to go to the other local center yesterday. They called me and said they couldn't see my cat because they don't treat thyroid(they have been treating him for 3 years for it). I argued this and they then said the records show he is hard to handle, I said he is drugged because of that..they then said we don't see drugged animals. I was prescribed this medication from the other location to give my cat before going there!! When I said that they said they have no record of that and couldn't even see what vet he saw last. What kind of records do they keep??? They knew my cat was difficult, but not the details of vet or prescription??? The vets they hire are not good! My regular full-service vet has no problem with my cat, and I've never had to drug him to go there, and that vet saved my cat after the pathetic vetiq vet said he was dying. Couldn't even read the blood tests to see that he had an infection. don't go here, the vets are not good quality!!

"We all know that vet fees have…"
We all know that vet fees have increased especially since the pandemic. A local pet store has a vaccination clinic on Sundays utilizing VIP PETCARE/PET IQ COMPANY. I made the very poor decision to utilize this service. What a disaster. The attending vet had a very rough bedside table manner. I should have let right away. After arriving at home my pet hid in a closet...would not come to me. Hours later he is still the same. He has a limp with the leg that the blood sample was taken. I tried to contact their Tele Vet service. Made 7 calls....spoke with Molly, Anna and Susan...promised a vet would call me back. Never happened. My regular vet will be contacted today. So take my advice....stay with your personal vet for the care of your pet.

these folks are friendly, efficient, and do NOT charge an office visit. you only pay for what you get.

"If i could give no stars i would"
If i could give no stars i would. We took our 15 week old Kittens to the vet clinic @ the Tractor Supply on Tower Drive in Middletown, NY for their next round of shots. While in the car the 2 started getting upset being in their carrier so i took them out and my fiance and i each held 1 to try and calm them down. once we arrived he put the one he was hold back in the carrier while the one i was holding seemed content (she was just looking around but relaxed). we waited in line for 15 minutes, spoke to 2 separate employees with VIP vet care got our kittens all checked in (there was an issue of them missing our records from their 1st visit with another vet that we gave them the first time we used VIP). When it was our turn we walked over to the exam table (i was hold a now sleeping kitten) the vet was no where to be seen, then suddenly she comes up behind me and very rudely says "that cat needs to be in the carrier, we wont see it unless its in the carrier" she completely ignores me trying to explain that she was extremely upset in there..... and proceeded to unzip our carrier where our other skittish kitten was. As i was trying to tell her this she abruptly said "you cant do that they need to be in 2 separate carriers" she left the bag unzipped turned to me (as i was going to maneuver the kitten into the bag) and grabbed the sleeping kitten from my arms by the actual neck (not the scruff of the neck around the neck. along with grabbing the kitten she also grabbed a fistful of my hair which the cat was sleeping under. I had to pull my hair out of her hand while she was attempting to shove the kitten into the carrier. My fiance then stepped in and said "we are done here, we are going to leave" he turned to the table asked for a refund to be processed and handed back the tags we were given and said "we are going to go somplace else, the way she just gabbed my cat along with her(meaning me) hair that was uncalled for we are done" the vet came over to us to repeatedly try to justify her actions. she came off as extremely confrontational and i repeatedly told her "we are done, we are getting our money back and leaving, we are done you can walk away you dont have to keep coming over here". her behavior from the startwas aggressive and we got the impression she was not a cat person. She kept trying to say thats the proper way to grab a cat..... i wasnt aware the proper way was to grab the cat around the neck i always thought it was by the "scruff" back of the neck. As we were walking out she kept mumbling stuff under her breath and i pointed out to her that she seems like she is looking for a confrontation i was trying to avoid an escalation but she kept going. she was very unprofessional and aggressive with me and my kitten. When we returned home i immediately called the costumer service line and issued a complaint. We do not recommend at all. they also tell you one price and then when you check you bill they charge $25-$35 more.

"Use them with Extreme caution or not at all."
Visited VIP Petcare at a Pet Supply Plus in Royal Oak, MI. My dog is a 30# bird dog & extremely gentle. I put the dog on the table, held his muzzle in one hand and secured his head with his collar in the other hand. The vets' assistant grabbed my dog and began what I would describe as strangling his windpipe. I told her to let go. she began arguing with me that they wouldn't give him a shot with me restraining my dog. They had to do it. I've raised & bred bird dogs for over 40yrs & am very familiar with how they should be restrained for shots. You DO NOT get near their windpipe. The meek vet standing nearby had nothing to say! I brought him to a real veterinary clinic where I held his head while a real vet gave him his shots. Never again. Upon further investigation on-line, this is not a one off instance of this. E-mailed Pet Care weeks ago and no response!!

"Dr. Russell Johnson"
I had a wonderful experience with PetVet Clinic at Tractor Supply. The doctor and vet techs were amazing and very welcoming. Dr. Russell Johnson was very knowledgeable about my pet breed, gave good advice, and and informed me on how to take care of other issues that my pet had that I did not get her treated for. The techs Mahli & Megell were great with my pup, they were friendly, hands on, and able to soothe my pet while giving shots. I will definitely be attending future clinics at tractor supply!!

"Incompetent & Dangerous"
Tell Tractor Supply to HALT their Partnership with VIP Petcare. Write to Hal Lawton 5401 Virginia Way, Brentwood, Tennessee 37027, US
VIP Petcare is irresponsible and dangerous, rude and afraid of being sued (which says a lot). If it weren't for a lack of services near me, I'd never have used them. VIP Petcare gave my a-symptomatic dog a diagnosis of Lung Worm, and Giardia. Lung Worm is a rare parasite that takes up residence in a dog's lungs and affects their breathing. It requires special detection methods to find. I highly doubt and my vet highly doubted, VIP Petcare employed any of these methods, given they were unable to tell me how they detected it even when I asked them three times. What they did tell me was, I had to seek veterinary help for my dog immediately. It cost me $142 for the VIP hack visit and another $275 at my own Vet to have my two dogs checked out who were both NEGATIVE for everything. This money could have been used towards my puppy's spay, food, or supplies. Did VIP Petcare read another dog's fecal sample and mix up the tests? I don't know for sure but it is very possible. If so, then there is a very sick dog walking around somewhere, untreated. When I called VIP Petcare to tell them what had happened and request a refund, they not only refused to give one but they were completely unconcerned about what had taken place or the possible ramifications for the dogs involved. Rather, they were concerned ONLY about whether there would be any legal repercussions for VIP Vetcare and said they "could not talk to me" to resolve the situation. As an animal lover and a frequent Tractor Supply customer I feel it is all of our responsibility to advise Tractor Supply to carefully review the Trust Pilot reviews of VIP Petcare and all the other reliable review sources before continuing to host these clinics. VIP Petcare isn't any less expensive than a traditional vet. In fact, when you factor in their mistakes and the potential repercussions, they cost A LOT more. We have to think of our pets first. Because it is clear not everyone does.

"Swindlers"
Don’t use VIP Petcare since prices are much higher than vets with their own offices that have much more flexible hours. I found out my local vet charges less than half of what VIP Petcare charged and they won’t adjust their charge for me. Very disappointed.

"If I could I would rate a minus 0"
If I could I would rate a minus 0. Worst experience ever. charged me up front for a fecal and urine test. Was not able to meet their deadline of 30 days from bloodwork exam, due to very limited hours of operation (only 20 hours a week). Took samples on a Saturday that they should have been open, but were not. They refused to refund my $30 dollars for up front payment, plus, wanted to charge me an addition $80 plus dollars to repeat the test. The vet also spent approximately 10 minutes sticking my dog for a blood sample at the time. Bad customer service. Wish I'd read the reviews before taking my dog there

"Rabies shot - given but not given"
i took my dog for puppy 3rd visit and also for his rabies shot. I paid and receipt showed how much I paid plus the list of the services included for that visit which listed all the vaccines and rabies shot and i was given a rabies tag. Turns out they did not give the rabies shot to my dog. So why give me a tag and why list it on the receipt? they could not answer me. what a mistake and what happens if God forbid my dog has rabies and bit someone?

"Do NOT go here"
Do yourself and your Pet a favor and Do NOT go here. I spent $97 for a heartworm test and NEVER received the results. Every time I call its a 45 minute wait. FINALLY got through and was spoken very rudely to by customer service and then a supervisor who kept talking over me. Come to find out, they had my wrong email. I asked why they didn't call me and was told that they see thousand of pets and can't call. So they took my wrong email, but couldn't call to correct it. Sure did take my credit card correctly.
